Beach with the Barksdales

last weekend w went to the beach with our great friends the barksdales ;)

we were there from wednesday to saturday and had the best time!

it was wyatt's first beach trip and i wasn't sure how he was going to like the sand but he loved it!!

 we were in Litchfield, which i love!! i haven't been there since i was little and it was perfect. great beach, not too crowded, it was great. 

 the plan was for lawton and betsy grace to sleep in the same room - you can imagine how that went....not much sleep the first night. they were so excited and lawton is used to having a lock on his door, so he like being able to come in and out at all times ;) after that night, they were in separate rooms ;)

 sweet boy slept great there too after a terrible week teething. i think the beach was what we all needed!

 lawton and betsy grace are such good friends and really love being around each other. they had a great time playing together and lawton usually was holding her hand when the waves came in

 yes, jack bought this for fun and yes, it is a small. i am so proud.

 and, he got sunburned again. twice already this summer. FAIL.

thank you libby and mac for such a a fun few days, we loved it and are so appreciative!! i love that our boys and girls get along as well as we all do! xoxo
