this year marked our 5th annual trip to the lake with some of our closest friends. they are basically family ;) BUT, we don't get to see them as often as we like...life is busy for everyone but we pick up right where we left off and go from there. that is when you know the relationships are special.
this year, Lawton was at the perfect age. i knew he would follow cooper (who just turned 7) around like a little brother. he wanted to do everything coop did and cooper was so sweet to him and never seemed annoyed ;)

first night was obviously a doozie, but the second was great.

on the last morning, we saw ths kids all around emma. so sweet and loving. reading to her, patting her, who the hell knows where wyatt was. that child doesn't know how to sit down for longer than 2 seconds ;)
until next year--we had a blast as usual! so thankful for these 2 families. i have known them for 16 years and jack, Andrew, Patrick and sarah all grew up together. very special to call friends our family ;)
we have been gone 5 weekends in a row. everyone at the hall house is beyond exhausted. it was all so much fun, but it's time for a routine and a break from alcohol!! my liver is screaming at me ;)
