it's time to vent....

hello there blog...it's been a while. 

you know why? because this is the sick house over here and i am OVER IT.

wyatt has had a terrible cough since december 18th, which we were told to wait it out. finally he was put on amoxicillin. it's STILL here and he has been TERRIBLE for 6 weeks. 6 WEEKS of whining, crying, moaning at night....i am about to freak out if someone doesn't help me out and figure out what is wring with him! there is the occasional smile, but check out those purple bags!

on top of this, i came down with the flu last week.

i went to work tuesday morning and my eyes were burning. badly. that afternoon i started feeling light headed and the next morning, i couldn't move. couldn't stand up, couldn't open my eyes, IT WAS AWFUL.

my dad picked me up and took me to the dr because i couldn't drive(thank god my mom is a PA!) and i tested positive for flu. they gave me tamiflu and that made me throw up all day. 

i seriously begged to be taken to the hospital. i couldn't be around the kids, jack, i was secluded in my room for 3 days!

i did get the flu shot and i think that helped with my recovery time. on friday i came downstairs and saw that wyatt had puss draining out of his ears. jesus.

on saturday, i took him to the dr and he had puss on his tonsils too but all his tests came back negative, but she sent me to the hospital for a chest x-ray to rule out pneumonia.

all this and it was my first day standing up in 3 days...

the test came back negative thank God.

they told me to bring him back if he ran a fever. what did he do? ran a fever of 102.9 sunday night.

back to the dr monday. wait it out. flu test negative.

tuesday. dr matthews appointment. wait 1.5 hour. everything looks good, need to get tubes back in nose. can't because  it has been constantly running for 6 weeks.

wednesday, i worked/school cancelled for snow. babysitter cancelled at 6:30am. awesome.

Wednesday night. wyatt fever of 102.7

thursday, speech. may have to start occupational therapy for sensory issues with his hands (starting to not want to pick up certain foods, etc)...speech otherwise going well but he was in a terrible mood.

tomorrow, back to dr for 18 month appoinmtent. need to get to the bottom of this cough and cold that he has had for 6 weeks that is making all of us miserable.

this is my life. doctors, therapists, work, trying to be a wife to my husband when children keep me occupied so much....trying to be a good cook, trying to work so i can have a life of my own, trying to not lose my patience when wyatt cries all the time. thank God lawton is at a great age and easy!

speaking of lawton, he turns 4 monday! we have a big ninja turtle party this saturday at a martial arts studio and the circus sunday which i am so excited about both, SO PLEASE NO MORE SICKNESS COME TO THE HALLS!

oh! and i slipped and busted my ass on the ice in my driveway this morning.

how was that for a rant? 

on a fun note, i am trying new things and one of them is lipstick! so fun ;)

it's the little things.

and the boys are really loving each other and playing (rough housing) with one another

AND school is back in session tomorrow. PTL.
