charlotte was calling for snow last week and of course, i don't believe until i see it. i don't run out and buy milk and eggs (what is that all about anyway? i see the milk part..but the eggs?) and i obviously don't have the proper snow clothes for the kids.....i mean, i am not spending bank on snow suits, boots, etc for their size when they grow so fast and it hardly snows here!
well, it did start snowing and i let them head outside tuesday night for a bit before bed
lawton LOVED it and the joy about him seeing it and talking about it was infectious
wyatt, not so much. screamed/cried when he got snow on his hands. check out his fingers above- he's freaked out
bless him. trying to make snow angels in .5 inches of snow
i had to work all day wednesday (waa! not really!) while they had to stay home from school. thank goodness for friends and family who took lawton out (wyatt wouldn't have anything to do with it!) in the snow to play. i ran to target the next day to get them gloves (oops!) and they were out.
big parent fail.
next year, we will have gloves at least. maybe a hat or two....but i am boycotting the snowsuits until they are at least 8 and stop growing for a while ;)
