christmas # 3

on thursday after christmas, we packed up and headed to fayettville for a few days to see everyone!

 all the cousins- growing up so fast! (lawton soon to be 4, will soon to be 8, emily soon to be 10 and wyatt 17 months)

we had a great time! 

the only negative: wyatt. OMG OMG OMG. he wouldn't leave my side. it was exhausting. he had a fever of 102.4 one night, so i knew he wasn't feeling well, but that doesn't make it easy when you are out of town. he awoke the 2nd night just as i was settling into the wine. screaming. so, the only way he settled down was if i slept with him. needless to say, we got about a total of 4 hours of sleep. 

it is so hard traveling with this age. everytime we do, one of my kids gets sick or is up all night. i know this will happen, but when it does, it stinks. i feel like i can't relax and let go you know? 

anyway, on the way home, the kids were good....until about the last 20 mintues. lawton was playing angry birds on my phone, then started saying he was ready to be home. then proceeded to throw up all over himself. OMG. then he did it again! i knew he was just carsick after playing the game, i was feeling a bit queasy myself from the back roads. 

after that, i just started laughing. i mean, it's got to be funny at some point right? no sleep, a whiny 1 year old and another throwing up. life!

once we got home, wyatt was fine and so was lawton.

note to self: no more angry birds while driving for lawton and be prepared for no sleep when traveling.
