on thursday, the sun was out...for a change! where have you been most of the summer?? i feel like we have been stuck in the house for weeks because of the weather ;((
we met one of my very best friends, matron of honor in my wedding, erin and her sis and their kids at the ballantyne ymca splash park.
ummm...it was awesome. the y was amazing!! the women at the pool were all in a bikinis, with hot as hell bods, we were like, "where are we? are these people crazy?" they were looking good and that place is awesome. meanwhile on the more shy side were the 3 of us in one pieces. sweet. (erin has an excuse, she is pregnant)
just wish it wasn't 30 min away....
anyway, we had a great time seeing each other ;)
lawton has a hard time warming up to things, so we ended up staying in the smaller spray ground most of the time. he is at a stage where he wants to be with me a LOT. lots of kisses and hugs before school, cries when a sitter comes and tells me how much he is going to miss me, wants to be with me every second at a place like this....sweet as it may sound, and it is, it is also hard because i want him to be a bit more sociable. it will come in time....i mean he is my son ;)

if any of you live in charlotte, check this pool out - it is great!! the morrison ymca - huge slides, huge pool/spray area. very cool and glad to know about it. AND FREE if you have a metro y membership. we will def be going back!
