sometimes you just have to remind
yourself that it'll all be okay.
maybe not now, maybe not tomorrow.
but one day. say it enough that one day
you'll actually believe it. remind
yourself that things have changed.
they changed for a reason.
people change for a reason.
you just have to let go and move on.
it's going to be hard. and you're going
to feel lonely, but just hold on.
because who is to say tomorrow
won't be the best day of your life?
this sounds like a quote about losing someone close to you, friendship wise, but it spoke very clearly to me. i'm lonely. wyatt changed for a reason. it's hard. hold on. one day it'll be okay. remind myself. remind myself. remind myself.
the lump in my throat will leave...one day.
i will sleep...one day.....THURSDAY TO BE EXACT! night nurse starts thursday, 3 days a week. what a blessing my mother in law is doing for us. i've got my ambien ready.
and the 3 best days of my life have already come and gone and one was wyatt being born.
it'll all be okay. one day.
You're so unbelievably strong- say that to yourself as well because you are!
ReplyDeleteI have never made a comment on a blog but I feel so touched every time I read your blog that I feel compelled to thank you for sharing your story. As a new mother struggling to adjust and learn I find your blog so inspiring. Thanks for sharing your story. Keep being so brave. Thanks, Annie
ReplyDeleteHere's what I have learned. It's OK to grieve your loss of "normal." I use quotes because normal is different for everyone, and sometimes it changes mid-stream. If you feel like crying, let the tears flow. That switcheroo can be super tough and lonely. Indulge yourself a little. Grieve if you need to. Then you'll have the strength to get back up and embrace your new normal. And, I have found, each normal is wonderful and challenging in its own way. Hang in there!
ReplyDeleteI look forward to your blog. You are an inspiration and are a vary strong Mama. Hang in there....you are going to look back and think time has flown by. Thank you for your story.
