i have been in front of a camera since i can remember and was lucky enough to be able to do it for a living for so many years and hopefully back at it after wyatt's second surgery.
tuesday was a shoot that i will take with me in my heart until the day i die.
it was with my sweet baby boy, capturing the face God gave him before it is changed forever.
it was one with a LOT of love and a LOT of smiles.
i contacted this photographer through and friend and and feel so honored that she did this shoot for us. she is amazing, sweet, caring, beyond talented and i do believe was placed in front of us for many reasons.
i needed this shoot to be perfect. to capture his smile, his glow, his pouts, his cry, his lip in so many different ways and she nailed him.
here is her blog entry and when i get the cd, i will post more, but for now, here is the wonderful lauren jackson and photos that wyatt will show his children and grandbabies one day. photos that i will hold tight to my heart forever.
enjoy and try not to bawl as i do everytime i look at them!

I literally was just about to comment... Long story short... When I was pregnant I was going to have my shoot in CLT bc my bestie lives there & I needed to get it done prior to my shower in VA... I looked online for many photographers& found Lauren Jackson ( we ended up not doing w her bc I ended up going to VA earlier) but had I stayed in nc she would've been the one to do it bc I fell in love with her work... Then this morning I saw your shoot on her Facebook page & I was like OMG I know that face! Small world! Wyatt took my breath away & the love you have for him shows through the photos! He's perfect in every way! Have a good weekend & it will all be okay :)
ReplyDeleteGorgeous photos! You are right, she captured so much joy and beauty in those pictures!
ReplyDeleteBrooke, I am sobbing...the pictures are perfect, Wyatt is perfect, and the written verses are so awesome. What a wonderful, special, heart touching photo shoot. I am praying for you all next week. Lots of Love!
