so, what has lawton been up to while mommy is feeding and pumping away?

well, i have lined up some sitters for the little man to keep him occupied and busy. see, school is out for two weeks and we have nothing to do. i usually have both boys for the morning and get a sitter for the afternoon. i have some great girls, two being my cousins but they go back to school next week. waa!! lawton LOVES all the girls that come over and everyone has been so much help! we have a wonderful sitter coming for a few days a week for a few months, named...wait for it....BROOKE! she is awesome and i am SO thrilled that he gets to spend time with her. she is a nurse and just jumps right in. we are so lucky and if i didn't have this help, i dont' know what i would do. some days i feel so trapped upstairs pumping and feeding and i just smile knowing lawton is happy.

the other day i decided to go through my closet while we were waiting for dorothy to come play....lawton loved playing a little dress up with mommy's very old and outdated jewelry!

milkshake with dorothy...who we have had babysit lawton since he was a baby! we LOVE her and she has become like family. she and lawton share the same birthday, we both went to state, were both sigma kappas and had the same room at the sorority house AND the same bed!! too bad she was a LOT younger than me but small world no?

 we, meaning I cherish these morning walks/scooter rides. my dad usually comes over and we stroll the hood. i have to have everything perfectly timed....after feeding, after burping so he won't throw up and get choked up, and before i have to pump. doesn't leave much time but i LOVE getting outside and stretching my legs. having my dad as company is wonderful. libby joined one day and it was heaven having a girlfriend to talk to!

today lawton and i had a date! brooke watched wyatt for the hour before feeding and we broke out of the house!!! i LOVED spending that time with my little man and we had such a special time. played some soccer when we got home getting ready for soccer to start in september ;)

 lawton loves to "shake your booty" after every bath. he is a naked boy at heart. notice the diaper at the bottom of the picture. AND he was watching honey boo boo, which he ASKS to watch. don't judge even though i know you are ;)

i love babies in nothing but diapers!

lawton can keep himself occupied for hours playing cars. he is totally obsessed. doesn't go anywhere without them. seriously. to bed, on scooter rides they are in his packets, to school - he takes 2-3 in a secret pocket in his backpack, in the car, you get the point. tonight we were waiting on daddy to come home and mommy was enjoying a beer, which has become a daily necessity.

thank you rachel, riley, dorothy and brooke for making my life easier and taking such great care of my boy. he screams with excitement when i tell him each of you is coming over for a bit to play. i love knowing that i can trust you all with him and know he is in the best hands.
