this is the first year Lawton has played soccer....when I say that I mean, he did soccer shots and sat on my lap most every practice.
jack is coaching, which is a win-win for all of us....Lawton wants to play because jack is the coach and his bff is on the team, jack loves coaching them, and jack gets to leave work early (this never happens) and takes him to practice and i don't have to go lug crazy town wyatt there! score!
Saturday was "the flames" first game and Lawton was so excited. i didn't know how he would do out there because he isn't very competitive and has never played a sport before...you have to start sometime!
this is Lawton and his bff gavin. these two are thick as thieves. at least once a week each one comes out to my car or gavins car because they have told the teacher they are coming home with us ;)
gavin is an AWESOME player - fast little guy!

Lawton did so well!!! he was very hesitant at first, kinda watched everyone when he was out on the field, then he def got the hang of it
all this little guy wanted to do was run out on the field and be with daddy and Lawton
annnnnndddd....he SCORES!!!!!! one goal for my little man!!! we were so proud!!! our team won like 10-0. jack was so impressed with these kids. there are 3 that are really good. i am so glad he is doing this and able to make new friends, get a little competition in his life and get excited about games.
i can already see that every Saturday will be like this for years to come....running from sport to sport!
my parents came as well to support number 4 and let's be honest - to also help me watch crazy town ;)
