happenings this week

after our little wreck, i had to get a rental car for a while and jack rolled up in this:

well, needless to say, i am in love.

straight up, crush love. the one where the guy doesn't like you back. the one where you can get him. yep, this isn't even in reality for me and i am sad to even get to drive the thing! i love it.

i secretly hope they lose my car at the shop.....

and speaking of cavities....

lawton had #3 of 6 to be filled. poor guy has the hereditary bad teeth from my side. at least he is relaxed huh? no prob. unlike me, i have to take a xanax to even get in the chair. back in atlanta, jack would have to come pick me up from the dentist because i couldn't drive,......hmm.....

wednesday night i went to Maroon 5 with some awesome ladies and we had a great time!

i never really thought adam levine was all that great until that night! and yes, he is a cutie!

i worked a few times this week, which is so nice for me since i took a year off to take care of wyatt full time. 

i love seeing friends and especially love being around adults and not talking about kids for once! no offense boys, but i did have a life before you ;)

plus. i get to wear beauties like these!

we got new tubes for wyatt because i lost his other ones...well, they are way too big. i can't put them in his nose without a huge struggle. we see dr. matthews this coming tuesday morning and will discuss his upcoming surgery OCTOBER 2 and hopefully he will have made him some smaller tubes. for now, he is enjoying life without them and putting everything, including chalk in his mouth ;)

lawton came home with a cold Friday which in turn always turns into us having to use the nebulizer ;( he couldn't go to a fishing bday party saturday, so he is showing off the gifts they gave them to take home. the bunny behind him is Buttons. he brought him home from school friday because he has been good at school and gets to bring him home and show in a book what they did together all weekend. homework has begun for mommy! well, it is going to be pretty boring ole buttons, you sat around and rested with lawton. no adventures at the hall house for you!

my brother leaves tuesday for London ;( ;( i am going to miss him so much but know this is an amazing opportunity for him. i think he will love it and crossing my fingers i can go visit at thanksgiving!

and now, for the smile of the day!! remember when i mentioned our friend wyatt mulder? here is the superhero cape we got him for his upcoming surgery ;) is he not precious????? our wyatt has the same one that one of my best friends gave him. i thought it was perfect for this little cutie. i should have gotten one for his mom too because she will be the brave one here. the one to comfort him, the one who bears all the emotions and weight of it all. jamie, i am here for you! i will be going through all the same things again on oct 2. we will do this together!
