i am surrounded by boys and i LOVE it.
i hope this doesn't offend anyone, but if i would (which i am not) going to have another child, i would secretly pray and pray for another boy. i know, i have never had a girl, so i don't know how wonderful they can be, but i know i am a pain in the ass sometimes, and if i had a daughter like me, it might send me over the edge ;)
boys are rough, rambunctious and loud and i love it. sometimes i feel like i can't keep up with how fast they both move, but hey, it keeps me on my toes. confession: once i am done working out for the day, i shower and put on new workout clothes. yep, never jeans because i am chasing, getting tackled, slobbered on, you name it.
lawton has really gotten into picking up wyatt and moving him all over the house. he has finally learned to get down from standing up, but lawton still likes to "help" him down when he is stuck
another man in my life is my dad. he stops by often which is wonderful and we get to spend some good time with him during the week. the boys adore him. my dad grew up with a brother and they are so close, tommy tortured him, like, literally tortured him, but they are best friends. hoping mine are the same!
lawton's new smile....uhhhh....he has pictures today at school and said this is how he is going to smile....we'll see how those turn out! ;)
ps- this was right after a nap
and this little one turned 9 months last week! everyone says it, but where does the time go?

some things about our 9 month old:
- you are sleeping in your crib again! praise the Lord!
- you have started clapping and you think you are so funny
- you are eating 2 meals a day! woo hoo! huge progress for you!
- you are wearing 18 month clothing. we go to the dr. next week to see how much you weigh and how long you are
- you are back to your huge open mouthed smiles and happy happy boy. we are thankful.
- you are still army crawling and fast as hell
- pulling up on anything and everything. i am following you around all day long, you NEVER sit still. ever.
- you hate being put in anything that keeps you in one place. you scream and grunt at us until you get your way and are outta there
- you looooove women. such a flirt
- you don't mess with your tape or tubes, hoping that stays that way!
- you aren't babbling yet. i know it will be a different road for you than other kids, so i won't compare you to anyone! go at your own pace my love.you can clap and waveyou also can climb the stairs by yourself!
- you worship lawton and are so happy to wake him from his naps and in the morning.
- you are a crazy leg kicker
- you HATE getting in the car seat and arch your back and scream when i try to place you in there.
- i am brain dead. sorry son, but that is about all you do right now ;) you are a wild man and we love you very much!
