these last 2 weeks lawton and mommy have spent a LOT of quality time together. we have been to the park numerous times, the nature museum, the pool, ice cream runs, stops by pap and susu's house, booty loop walks, runs to the store to score a balloon and cookie, anything to keep busy! school starts tuesday and i know lawton is getting ready. i know this because last week when we went for "meet your teacher day" even though his teacher is is awesome great aunt karen, he did not want to leave. cried and pouted when he had to put up the books, dinosaurs, play food, trucks, block, etc...who would want to leave?? i am a bit torn, he will be in school M,T,W, and F. i am excited for to get back to working more, but i will miss these mornings at the playground with friends. thursdays will be a great mommy and lawton morning...i look forward to them!
