BAD MOMMY

i know what you are thinking...where is he? why are all those pillows around him? but seriously, does he not look like a little doll baby? (mer, that one was in there for you)

i don't know about other moms out there, but this child FIGHTS me when he goes to bed. he will be fed, burped and dozing off and the second i put him down, those blue eyes and bottom lip both pop out. it is the time of day i dread the most. but, once asleep, he is all good. he has been sleeping since he was 3 weeks old really. no complaints. except today.

lawton felt like he would start the day at 6:30. well, fine, but mama ain't playin with you this early, so, in to my bed you go. out like a light. do you know what i did? i ate breakfast without a bottle in my left hand and spoon in my right, i checked email, i did a load of laundry, i watched real housewives of new jersey (danielle scares me) and i even made a few phone calls. yup. and i don't regret a thing. don't you tell me it is wrong to "mess up their sleep habits"....sometimes, you just do what you need to do! i went upstairs at 8:30 to check on him (don't worry, it wasn't the first or second or third) and he was just happy as a clam playing with those big feet i passed down to him. what a blessing those things are! soooo glad he can reach them! see jenna and wicker, having a big toe is good for something!!
