busy bees

we have been some busy bees around here!

this past week is one that we have had marked on the calendar for a while....we were finally meeting trent's girlfriend of 9 months Joanna!!

we were excited to see trent too, but she was a huge highlight of the week!

they were only in town for a few days before going to a wedding, so we tried to soak up as much time as we could. I don't have many pics, but here is the beauty!

 she makes trent so happy and seeing them together was special. I def teared up a few times throughout the 2 days we were able to spend with them

the boys were THRILLED to see their uncle too!

 here is my daredevil and here is my mom suit ;( I have to wear one to the pool because my boys are always grabbing on to me and pulling me in the water etc.

 and, yes, I make Lawton wear floaties to go off the board. he isn't the best swimmer yet, but he is getting there. I know he could do it but I have my hands full with wyatt, so better safe than sorry!

 kid would go 100x and do it all by himself I weren't such a scardy cat.

 this weekend was one jack has been waiting on forever. we were going down to tiger, ga to lake

 

burton to see one of his best friends Duncan and his family. 5 boys total!

wyatt was OBSESSED with little 4 month old bobby.

obsessed!!! at least we know IF I were to ever have another baby (which I am NOT), he would be a great big brother. he didn't let him out of his sight and every time I held bobby, he wined only because HE wanted to hold him!

 I didn't take the best pics, but Friday we went on a boat ride and cooked out and it was great.

saturday I woke up feeling HORRIBLE. I haven't felt that bad in years. I think the white wine got to me and after our crazy week, I just let go. well, man, never again!

we went to the club while the boys played golf (for 7 HOURS) and let the boys swim in the indoor pool there for a few hours

 I love that wyatt can swim on his own now with floaties! such a change since the beginning of the summer. he couldn't even hold himself up in them. he LOVES the water. loves being a daredevil. loves trying to jump BACKWARDS off the ledge. I am on constant wyatt watch!

 colin, wyatt, Lawton and reid. the older boys got along GREAT. they had the best time with one another and it was fun to see. I was so proud of them sharing and playing so well together.

 lil ray loves him some boat rides. screams WAAAA HOOO everytime

 then merrit and I took the boys out to dinner while the husbands took the boat back. dinner turned into hours without them because the boat ran out of gas, they had to be towed, then they got lost getting to the restaurant. by 9:00 I was done, done, and done. all miscommunication but it was a long day for merit and I with 5 boys

but again, they couldn't have been better for us!

 and to top off the week, I got pulled driving home yesterday! 77 in a 55. NOT GOOD.

when the officer went back to his car, I rolled down the kids windows hoping that when he came back he would see them and let me off.

no such luck. I even asked him if I could get off since it was my first offense and he said nope.

then I asked him where I was speeding, etc and jack just said "TAKE THE TICKET".

then I told him I couldn't make court because of my kids and we were in nowhere land GA...again jack said "TAKE THE TICKET".

but I feel like I am growing up because I didn't cry. I have gotten pulled before and immediately cried because cops freak me out.

 this is what chocolate face man showed the cop. I wanted crying!

 tomorrow is Wyatt's birthday, another big week ahead!!
