WWH update

yesterday we had wyatt's 1 year photoshoot with the ever talented Lauren Jackson again!

this one was super special because it is wyatt's first birthday pics and they show how far he has come this year.

for wyatt's birthday, i have been putting together a few fundraisers instead of a big birthday party. wyatt isn't eating like kids his age yet, that will come, but i thought the best way to celebrate was to raise money for children who will be so lucky to have dr. matthews, wyatt's surgeon change their life. he has a charity and all the money will go to the children he will help in jordan later this year. amazing!

later that afternoon, we had a follow up with dr. matthews. we go every month for him to check how he is healing.

it was a 2 hour wait....the man works alone. can you imagine?? he is so incredible. i don't know how he does it.

 wyatt made a friend with a little old lady sitting beside us. they waved back and forth for about 40 minutes ;)

TUBES COME OUT ON HIS BIRTHDAY!!!! JULY 29TH, HERE WE COME!!

surgery will now be in the fall, not in the next few weeks.

he is healing beautifully and everything looks great.

can't beat that!

wyatt has been SUCH a trooper. the child has had to have tubes taken in and out of his nose every.single.day for  120 days. it has been a ride, that's for sure.

i can't wait to see his face all the time. no tape. no tubes. i am choking up just thinking about it...
