this saturday we went out to riverbend farms with a great group of friends and picked our pumpkins!
lawton is at such a fun age and he had a blast. we went when he was 9 months and jack and i looked at one another and asked "what were we thinking bringing him all the way out here when he couldn't walk and play on anything" kings rd pp would have been just fine... i guess we did anything for a picture ;)
anyway, this year we loaded up our TWO boys (still getting used to saying that) and had a blast.
see here? i do exist! i am always the one taking the pictures and never in them. i read this and told myself to get in at least one picture wherever we go, so that my boys know i was there. doesn't matter how i looked that day because they will love me for everything that i am, no matter if i had a long night with bags under my eyes, whether i am bigger than normal, etc. so, here i am even though its the back of lawton's head ;)
checking out the roosters! okay, did anyone read about the ecoli outbreak at the NC fair? umm, my parents just told me about it AFTER we went here and animals were everywhere. did he touch the gates? YES. did we wash his hands after that? NO.

lawton wanted to take a picture...
finally out at the pumpkin patch! lawton had so much fun! all the pumpkins were huge and in such great shape. excuse my camera. i didn't get the best pics and zero family pics. hoping to get a camera for christmas to capture this boy on the move.
lawton strong!
running in the field of dreams with leighton
don't they look like brother and sister? we were all trying to get them to sit together promising mountains of gummi's and it still didn't work.
didn't understand that you put your face IN the hole. that ended up a bust too.
welp, there you go! another successful year at the pumpkin patch! let the holidays begin!

We went to the Cleveland County Fair!!!!! Luckily we stayed away from the animals but I don't think we'll be back!
