here are my boys both at 37 weeks! i have a belly book for each son and have tried my best to take a picture of my belly every week during pregnancy. little did i know, this was my last of lawton because i had him the next week! i noticed this morning on the way to the gym that i had on the same outfit as i had in lawton's book, so i wanted to compare...
wyatt looks pretty high up there huh? i went to my two drs last week. my OB said no dilation, but that he is very low. well, i could have told him that by the way he moves! my fetal specialist said he was around 6.2 pounds and i was thrown off a bit. i thought he would be bigger, but you never know with those things. she later told me that she wanted to measure my fluid because 3 weeks ago i was good, but borderline. this time i was in the safe zone. i didn't know what that meant and she said most cleft babies have a harder time taking in the fluid compared to other children which makes sense. i am glad she didn't tell me 3 weeks ago so that i stayed away from google! i have to admit, it was bittersweet to say goodbye to everyone there. they go through your journey with you and i made some friends along the way. i promised to take wyatt to visit ;)
i go back this friday to my OB to check dilation and decide weather i want to induce.
i have been very adamant about him coming when he wants to and for the fun of the surprise. the more i think about it, the more i want my doctor to be there for this particular birth. last time, i could have cared less because i didn't know what to expect. i think i need someone who i know, plus, i have only seen one doctor this whole time since i was 18 weeks. last week he was out of the country and the woman i saw kinda pushed my decision. as i was looking and talking to her, all i could think was, i really don't see you delivering my baby. i want dr. lucas. SO, we'll see. decisions need to be made soon. i have a few nights to toss and turn about it but know my heart will lead me in the right direction.
damn, i was kinda hoping my water would break in the HT for a good story. LIKE MY FRIEND ERIN, EXCEPT HERS WAS IN A FOOD LION ;)

Do you go to Eastover? If we are talking about the same Dr. Lucas...he is soooo GREAT. One of my faves over there!!! I'm so excited to see how life is with two boys. I'll be begging you for advice in a few months!!!
