A Name

a lot goes into a name.

people ask me where lawton knox got his name. is it a family name? NO. hmmm, well then where did that come from?

it was a hot fisherman's name that took my dad, brother and i out deep sea fishing for a couple years. YEP. TRUE STORY. and yes, jack went along with it. Knox is because jack went to TN and is obsessed. therefore, Knox is short for Knoxville ;-) the guys closet is painted orange for goodness sakes. that is true too, my mom helped him paint it.

William Wyatt. is william a family name? YES! my father, jack's father, my grandfather, my brother, my nephew and of course, my husband. now wyatt will carry it on. wyatt? NOPE. it is a true cowboy name and that is why we loved it. a strong name for a strong boy.

plus, lawton and wyatt put together sound like they are going to raise hell and that makes me smile.

ANYWAY. a name.

need a new blog name. Life.Love.Lawton has grown.

we have a new life growing. we have more love growing.
