TWO!

My boy is two. TWO!!! these past 2 years have been the best of my life, that is for sure.

Lawton, you are a joy to be around and you make me proud every day.

here are some things about you right now:

  you are athletic and coordinated. you can hit the baseball off the tee (lefty!), and one of your favorite things to do is kick the soccer ball around. you can pass, dribble and shoot a basketball easily.


• 
  
  cautious. you don't do things really without my approval. you don't "jump in head first"


• 
  
  a great listener. you know my voice well and actually listen to what mommy say about what you should or shouldn't do.


• 
  
  a man of routines. just like your mother ;-)


• 
  
  stinky. those feet kill me! please start wearing socks now that you are two!


• 
  
  a singer and dancer


• 
  
  a gentle soul. you love your grandparents and aunts, uncles and cousins so much!!

  an artist

  a big boy!!! you are getting so tall! you are wearing all 3T clothes now and size 7 shoe!

  a slow eater. man, it takes you an hour to eat a cupcake. you savor every bite. at school after 30 minutes they take your lunch and you say you aren't done. you are always the last to finish. not like your mother.

  almost speaking full sentences. you express yourself very well and i understand 98% of what you say. we have wonderful conversations now and i love it!

  shy at times. when you walk into a room full of people, you smile a little shy smile and move closer to mommy until you feel comfortable, then you run loose


• 
  
  are ALL boy. trucks, sirens, balls, wrestling, etc


• 
  
  a water baby. i think bath time might possibly be your favorite time of day.
  creature of habit. you HATE trying new foods. that is probably my fault ;-(

  very polite. always saying please and thank you

  oh, and you have some curly, bushy hair that i have no idea how to tame!!

Lawton, you have made all of your daddy and my dreams come true. We have NO IDEA what we did without you. We love you always and just know, you are the reason we get up everyday, the reason we work so hard, the reason we want a wonderful life...all for you. YOU, my dear, are our everything!
