this has been a busy week! i have been working most of the week and haven't had the camera out and to be honest, it life has been pretty uneventful. i have had to leave early the past 3 mornings for work and lawton has finally realized that i am not coming back for a while and it makes him very sad. jack took this picture thursday morning after i left ;-(
sad, but a bit flattering!thursday night, mista man had a fever of 102.8. i know that isn't high for babies, but we haven't had a fever that high over at this house....ever. and why are babies fever different than ours? if i had a fever of 104, i would FREAK OUT but the pediatric nurse says they don't ever see babies unless their fever is 105 or higher. that is bogus. anyway, the nurse told us to ride it out and put him in light clothes. jack ran upstairs and pulled out this beauty. his TN jersey. oh lord. i thought we might get out of wearing this since it was 18 month and totally not wearable during winter. i was wrong.
headed up for a nap. cute little fanny....
today, he is still running a fever, so we are making a dent in the couch and watching lots of cartoons. praying he gets better soon - it is so heartbreaking to see him so lethargic and pitiful!
Bless his sweet wittle heart, look at that face!! Thank God you were already out the door and didnt see him fall to pieces. Congrats on the work and I hope Lawton feels better soon. xoxo
ReplyDeleteAww, poor baby! Something is going around, alot of my friend's babies are sick too! I hope that sweet baby feels better soon and totally agree it is bogus they won't see a child unless the their temperature is 105 or higher, that is crazy talk!
